Senate District 62 DFL is an official political unit of the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party. We are a grassroots, all-volunteer organization that works hard to elect Democrats to leadership positions in Minnesota state government and in Washington, D.C. We are progressive Democrats – we believe in the concept of “the common good”, that we all do better when we all do better. We want legislation that is fair to all. And we also want government that is efficient, honest and transparent.

We represent Democrats in a geographical area that includes the South Central portion of Minneapolis, including the neighborhoods of Bancroft, Bryant, Central, East Phillips, Kingfield, Lyndale, Midtown Phillips, Phillips West, Powderhorn Park, Regina, Stevens Square/Loring Heights, Ventura Village, and Whittier; as well as portions of the Field and Northrop neighborhoods.
